HRRMC hosts open house for two new physicians

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is holding an open house for two new physicians on its medical staff, Daniel M. Perlman, M.D.,  and Ashley L. O’Hara, M.D., on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 5 to 6: 30 p.m. in the hospital atrium, by the main entrance.

Dr. Perlman is an internal medicine physician who is board certified in infectious disease. He will join Dr. Randal Villalovas in providing hospitalist coverage at HRRMC as well as adult primary care services at HRRMC Internal Medicine in the Outpatient Services Clinic at the hospital.

Dr. Perlman relocated to the San Luis Valley after practicing in the Denver area as an infectious disease specialist for more than 20 years. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine through Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a fellowship in infectious disease through the University of Colorado Hospital.

Dr. O’Hara is a family medicine physician with Salida Family Medicine. She is board certified in family medicine and offers obstetrics and gynecology services as well as family medicine services from pediatrics to geriatrics. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed her internship and residency with St. Mary’s Family Medicine in Grand Junction, Colo.
