League of Women Voters of Chaffee County

The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

The League of Women Voters of Chaffee County meet on the second Monday of each month. Meetings alternate between Buena Vista and Salida. Visit the local LWV blog at http://www.lwvchaffeecounty.blogspot.com for information about upcoming meetings.

Everyone is welcome to attend League meetings. Please refrain from wearing scents to the meeting in consideration of those who have allergies.

All persons of voting age, men and women, are invited to join LWV. Participation in LWV is a way to become better informed about the issues and candidates in today’s political universe, and to help others become better informed as well.
