We will be hosting two teen health fairs, our first Take Care Teen Health Fair is in Salida, August, 10th from 5 – 8 pm in the High School Cafeteria (please enter by the bell). The second Take Care Teen Health Fair is on August, 24th from 4-7pm in the Buena Vista Community Center. Both events will be identical. We have over 20 healthy Community Organizations that will have an interactive booths at the fair.

Chaffee County Undersheriff John Spezze announced today, Thursday, June 9th, that the fire danger rating for all private lands in the county has been raised to high and has declared a no burn day restriction starting today and until further notice.

Chaffee County Sheriff Pete Palmer announced today that the fire danger rating for all private lands in the county has been raised to HIGH and has further declared today a no-burn day. No open fires are allowed, including all exempted fires.
