Chaffee County schools to celebrate International Walk to School Day on October 6(2)

Potentially 1,174 students from these three schools will be walking to school on Wednesday, October 6th along with parents, teachers and community leaders. Salida Mayor Chuck Rose will be greeting students at Longfellow Elementary and handing out prizes to those who walk or bike to school.
