Lisa Malde

After living in the front range for seven years, Lisa Malde escaped the rat race and now calls Salida home.  She encourages healthy eating and active living as the director of LiveWell Chaffee County and also brought roller derby to Chaffee County when she started the Ark Valley High Rollers.  She spends her “free” time serving as a Salida Planning Commissioner.

From the US Bases in Antarctica to Chaffee County cafeterias, Sally Ayotte, now a full time resident of Salida, is not only the head of LiveWell Chaffee County’ Healthy Foods Work Group, but is also a certified trainer at Culinary Boot Camps for School Food Services and volunteers for LiveWell doing cooking demonstrations and nutrition education. Maintaining a busy schdule allows Sally to have the unique opportunity to get involved with helping locals achieve a healthy eating and active lifestyle resulting in a happy life. Sally said that she feels lucky to be “able to share my passion and empower people to want to live a healthy lifestyle by making informed choices about what they eat and how to cook delicious food in any climate or condition.”
