Time is running out for area artists to submit entries for the annual Valley Visions art exhibition at the SteamPlant, sponsored by the Salida Council for the Arts. Deadline for applications is Friday, April 10; and only the first 40 entries can be accepted into this popular, non-juried show.

Valley Visions is considered Salida's premiere showcase for the area's impressive community of artistic talent--painters, sculptors, artisans, photographers etc. This year's exhibit will be launched with a gala public Grand Opening reception on Fri. May 1 from 4-7 pm; and remain on display through May 31. All artwork will be for sale; and the show will be publicized extensively throughout the region.

Valley Visions applications must be received by April 10. For complete information, instructions, and printable entry forms, go to or contact SCFTA President Lisa Marvel at The Book Haven, 719-207-1480.
