Call for Volunteers! STERP informational meeting on Jan. 25

edited January 2016 in Events

The Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas and its Salida Trail Ecological Restoration Project partners have received multiple grants that will fund an exciting amount of work on the Monarch Spur Trail in downtown Salida this coming summer. This project (STERP) will transform the city’s most popular pedestrian trail into a beautiful, natural experience by replacing non-native noxious weeds with native trees, shrubs, wildflowers and grasses.

If you have not volunteered with us on this project, please join us for an informational meeting on Monday, Jan. 25, from 7-8 p.m. in the basement of the United Methodist Church on Fourth and D streets. There is much work to do and we hope to see you at the meeting!

Please visit http://www.ltua.org for more information on STERP and the organization.
