Join Guidestone’s Enthusiastic Team of Volunteers this Spring and Summer!
Spring is here, and Guidestone is looking forward to an eventful and exciting summer filled with Farmhands Education Programs, bountiful Salida School Gardens, and tours and programs at the Hutchinson Homestead & Learning Center. Community support is integral to the success of all of our programs, and volunteers play a significant role in providing engaging opportunities for youth, families, area visitors, and our local community to experience Guidestone firsthand. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy being a part of, please join Guidestone’s enthusiastic and dedicated team of Volunteers!
There are many different volunteer opportunities with Guidestone to fit a variety of skills and interests. If you are a ‘green thumb’, enjoy gardening and food production or would like to gain skills in growing your own foods, consider volunteering at the Salida School Gardens. If local history, ranching, heritage tourism and/or homesteading skills are your interests, there are a number of volunteer opportunities at the Hutchinson Homestead & Learning Center. If you enjoy working with children in an outdoor setting, consider volunteering with the Farmhands Education Program. Or join us for one of our special events! There are also ‘behind the scenes’ volunteer opportunities that support program prep, administrative tasks, grounds maintenance and more.
Guidestone volunteer positions have flexibility to accommodate individual schedules and are available for youth, ages 13-18 and adults (ages 18 and up). For more information on volunteer opportunities and to apply, please contact [email protected] or call (719)239-0955.
