An Evening of Cowboy Music at the Hutchinson Homestead & Learning Center
Guidestone is thrilled to host national touring performer and cowboy musician, Bob Bovee, for an evening of traditional music at the Hutchinson Homestead & Learning Center on Friday, August 26, from 6-8pm. This will be a great family show, and sure to be highly enjoyable to folks of all ages!
Since 1971, Bob has traveled the country taking old time music to audiences of all ages at festivals, fairs, concerts, dances, schools, libraries, music camps, radio and TV programs. This is rural music as played in homes, at dances and for earlier entertainments such as minstrel shows and country radio.
Along with a repertoire including dance tunes, ballads, cowboy songs, humorous and sentimental numbers, blues and rags, and tin pan alley favorites, he spices his shows with stories, history and folklore. Bob sings (yodels, too) and plays guitar, harmonica, banjo and autoharp. To learn more about Bob’s music, recordings, programs and live performances, visit www.boveeheil.com.
