Light the Path @ Vino Salida
Fundraiser at Vino Salida for the Bike Path Extension of CR120
Vino Salida in Poncha Springs is hosting “Light the Path”, a pumpkin carving and wine fundraiser on Sunday, October 16, from 4-8pm, for the CR120 Bike Path Extension Project. $20 for a pumpkin, glass of wine, tools and friends. $15 for non-alcoholic beverages.
The fundraiser is for the extension of the CR 120 bicycle and walking path, also known as Rodeo Trail. The trail currently runs from Poncha Boulevard in Salida along CR 120 to Elevation Brewery. The extension will take the trail westerly to the end of CR120 and northerly along Hwy 285/50 to CR 128, across from the Poncha Springs Crossroads Visitors Center.
This project is a result of a private/public partnership between Chaffee County, private land owners, the non-profit Salida Parks, Open-space, and Trails (SPOT), LiveWell Colorado and community businesses and individuals. A Salida couple has offered to double the funds raised at “Light the Path” with a $10,000 challenge match!
