Josh Been benefit art show is Saturday!

Landscape artist Joshua Been hosts his 8th Annual Benefit Art Show from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at his gallery, 139 W. First St. in downtown Salida. Been donates 30 percent of sales to Central Colorado Conservancy, formerly known as the Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas.

Funds support the nonprofit’s work conserving the region’s land, water and wildlife by partnering with landowners, agricultural producers and the community.

Recently returned from a trip through the Southwest, Been said new works available at the benefit will include scenes from Zion, Sedona, Grand Canyon and the Escalante region of Utah, in addition to locally inspired works. Kalamatapit Catering will provide hors d’oeuvres for the free event. For more information call Central Colorado Conservancy at 539-7700.
