Bridging the Political Divide Wanted: Individuals with diverse political interests, opinions, values, and beliefs to strengthen our community by Bridging the Political Divide.

Are you dissatisfied with the conflict, anger, and irreverence surrounding politics? Do you share my belief that we need to do better? Then please join me for the Bridging the Political Divide workshop on Saturday, October 21, 2017, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the First Presbyterian Church, 7 Poncha Boulevard, Salida, CO. We are requesting a suggested donation of $15 to cover our costs.

The mission of the workshop is to improve the quality of political dialogue in our community by people the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively engage in consensus building and collaborative dialogue.

Ideally, the participants will represent a broad spectrum of political beliefs. Although the primary focus is learning the methods and skills of collaborative dialogue and consensus building, the program will focus on local (Salida) issues in anticipation of the upcoming elections.

The program is part of Colorado Conflict Resolution Month as declared by the state legislature.
