There are a few opportunities to attend a College Fair in the next few weeks.

On Sunday, October 4th, from 10am-4pm Aspen High School will host both a College Fair and over 30 workshops. The workshops begin at 10am and will last until 1:30pm. The Fair floor will open at 11am and will have 150 colleges in attendance. I have attached a file that will show the colleges in attendance as well as the titles of the workshops. Visit http://www.cwscollegefair.org for more details.

On October 8th from 4-7pm Salida High School will host a College Fair in the main gym. Meet with local professionals then explore college/trade school options. There will also be a FAFSA workshop from 5-6:30pm in room 101. Daisy Valdez from Adams State University is back to talk about the changes to filing the FAFSA and to answer any questions.

On Sunday, October 11, National Association for College Admissions Counseling will host a College Fair located at the Denver Mart with over 100 colleges in attendance. This event will begin at 1:00pm and end at 4pm. Visit http://www.nacacnet.org/college-fairs/FallNCF/Pages/Denver.aspx for more information.
The Denver Mart is located at

These are great opportunities to spend the day with your child and having that post-secondary conversation regardless on their grade level. Keep the day light and find the humor in the application process over dinner on the way home.
