We’ve heard members of the Non-Profit 63-20 board explain how hard they have been working to create the Natural Resource Center. I appreciate their efforts, but they are about to borrow $4.2 million, with our land as collateral.

Our kids are spending far too much time taking standardized tests and not enough time learning. Teachers are being forced to spend day after day drilling their students on rote memorization and test prep.

Grover Norquist and his ilk have created a sinister fiction that too many Americans have taken to heart as A Great Truth: that all taxation is bad, and government steals from Americans and provides no value.
