This year, for the first time, participants can preregister and prepay online with a Visa or MasterCard for the fair’s low-cost screenings. To register online, go to www.9healthfair.org, click on Find a Fair, select Salida, click the Search button, then scroll down the page and click the “You can register online now” link. Online registration is cut off at noon the day before the event.

The City of Salida announced Thursday four finalists for the City Administrator position. Finalists are Dara MacDonald of Salida, Mark Heller of Golden, Richard Bellis of Taos, New Mexico and Scott Hahn of Salida.

REGen LLC would like to invite any interested members of the public to learn more about the first phase of development at the Salida Natural Resource Center, including plans for the U.S. Forest Service building. A public open house has been scheduled from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 22nd at the Salida SteamPlant.

Brandon walks into my office wearing a concerned look; I immediately start to think of ways to console this young man that I have known for almost 8 years. Then I hear the words, “I got it.” The Boettcher Scholarship is the most prestigious merit-based scholarship available to graduating high school seniors in Colorado and was modeled after the Rhodes Scholarship Program.
