The one common factor that we have found that causes meters to freeze is the lack of use. This can happen if a property owner is gone for a length of time. The longer someone is gone, the more likely that the water meter will freeze.

Since March, Patty LaTaille, a professional mediator and executive director of Restorative Justice, has taught Intro to NVC to men and women at CCDC in separate weekly classes. Eight of the male inmates who participated in the 12-week course were awarded with a Certificate of Completion in a graduation ceremony attended by 11th Judicial District Chief Judge Charles Barton.
