Race organizers for the USA Pro Cycling Challenge announced Tuesday that the race will return to Colorado in 2012 and is about to begin accepting bids from host cities, including Boulder.

U.S. Highway 50, about a mile west of Cotopaxi, remains closed this morning after a rockslide blocked the roadway yesterday afternoon.
