It is an open skate and bake sale fundraiser at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. The fun kicks off at 1:00 PM at The Fairgrounds.

On Friday, a sheriff’s deputy received information from a confidential source that a drinking party involving underage persons was to take place the following evening at a private residence near Buena Vista.

Youth winter fly tying(0)

The Collegiate Peaks Chapter of Trout Unlimited is sponsoring this 3-week class on Fridays, February 3, 10, and 17th. It will be held at Boys & Girls Clubs at 340 E. 5th Street from 9 AM-noon. Cost is FREE, but students must register at Boys & Girls Clubs, Salida Middle School Office, or Crest Academy BEFORE January 25thas there is a 12 student limit.
