Pabst Blue Ribbon and the Arkansas River Trust are hosting a benefit show Jan. 15 at the Asian Palate with Grammy-nominated band Missed the Boat with 100 percent of proceeds to be used for improvements on the Arkansas River.

Monarch Mountain is partnering with the US Forest Service Salida Ranger District and Greater Arkansas River Nature Association (GARNA) to offer locals and resort guests a free on-hill ski naturalist tour.

Cultivating a new vision for HRRMC’s healing garde(0)
The new design features a more organic approach, with plantings clustered naturally rather than geometrically. Existing plants will be replanted in new groupings and softer, earth-toned mulch will replace some of the rock mulch. This softer mulch brings the added benefit of allowing water to penetrate more easily to allow for plant growth.
