Salida transportation plan meeting(1)
The City and County are working together to create a transportation plan for the area around Salida so that as we grow, we ensure quality, well-connected transportation infrastructure is constructed. If you would like to help avoid poor transportation designs in the future, please attend a public meeting Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Salida SteamPlant in the Riverside Annex building.
Mike Harvey explains the UP Trail project(1)
Mike Harvey of Recreation Engineering and Planning (REP) gives a synopsis of the UP Trail project, which would route bicycle and pedestrian traffic between Salida and S Mountain through a developed culvert and establish a trail extending both upstream and down from F Street in order to mitigate trespassing issues and improve the experience for recreational users. Presented to the Salida City Council on October 6, 2008.
