The ShinDig for October will be another collaborative effort with the US Forest Service. We will be working on problem areas of the Silver Creek trail, one of the connectors that descends from the Rainbow Trail.
Saturday, November 13, 9:00am: SMT SHINDIG Volunteer Day on the North Backbone Trail.
This once-a-month SMT Shindig Trail Work Day will build new trail at the North Backbone northern terminus. Lunch will be served after the trail work around 2:00pm.

The Salida City Clerk will hold a Press Conference tomorrow (Wednesday) March 18th at 10:00 AM at the Council Chambers to announce her findings on the petitions submitted against Ordinance 2 (The Occupation Lodging Tax). For more information please call City Hall at 539-4555.
An informational meeting about the project will be held at the Salida SteamPlant, 220 W. Sackett Ave. on Thursday, March 19th at 6:00 p.m.
Positive change is afoot (or afin) at the Aquatic Center, as projects involving the installation of the hot water pipe and the reopening of the locker rooms move forward.
