Autumn in the Upper Arkansas Valley is a wonderful time to celebrate the region and its abundant harvest. One great event for children and families is Guidestone’s 8th Annual Pumpkin Patch & Harvest Festival at the Hutchinson Ranch in Salida. The Pumpkin Patch is a three-day celebration open to the public, offering a variety of activities and amusements for the whole family, including horse-drawn wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, pony rides, farm games, crafts and face painting, and great food! In addition to being a community festival, Pumpkin Patch is a fundraiser for Guidestone’s Education Programs.
The festivities begin Friday night with a Harvest Dinner featuring live music, a live auction, bonfire, and twinkle-lit wagon rides to the pumpkin patch. Enjoy the sights and sounds of life on the ranch along the South Arkansas River! Come on out, join the fun, and support a great cause!
