Virtual Town Hall Scheduled for Friday
Per the Chaffee County Public Health Situational Report a Town Hall is Scheduled for this Friday at Noon.
Chaffee County Public Health (CCPH) and several community stakeholders and subject matter
experts are hosting a virtual town hall to provide updates and address concerns about current
trends of COVID-19 on Friday, Oct. 23, at noon on Facebook Live and Zoom.
CCPH will be joined by representatives from Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, Chaffee
County Board of County Commissioners and Emergency Medical Services, the school districts and
Solvista Health.
“The trends we are seeing in Chaffee County and Colorado are alarming. The risk of transmission is
increasing, and I am concerned that if we do not make thoughtful and proactive decisions now, we
might jeopardize the ability to continue in the Level 2 of the Safer at Home order. Friday’s town hall
will highlight various strategies to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community,” said Andrea
Carlstrom, Chaffee County Public Health director.
The general public can submit questions ahead of time to Andrea Carlstrom at
[email protected] by Thursday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m.
