What makes it macro? GARNA Photography class

edited February 2015 in Events

Because of the popularity of this workshop last year, GARNA is offering the photography class, “What makes it macro?” again on Thursday, February 19. GARNA Board member and photo club contributor John McCarthy will lead this workshop with discussion and individual hands on experience using various camera settings and techniques, lighting, and subject matter. As time allows, participants will share photos on their laptops and notebooks. Other class topics will include equipment needed, depth of field, automatic versus manual camera settings, focusing and subject matter choice.

The class will take place from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Discovery Room at the First Presbyterian Church in Salida. There is no cost for GARNA members (except for a $1 donation to the church) and the fee is $6.50 for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is required by visiting http://garna.org/events/macro-photo-workshop/. For more information, please call GARNA at 539-5106.
