350 Central Colorado Offers Free Screening of 'The Story of Plastic'
The impact of plastic pollution on the environment and solutions is the focus of a free online film offering now through the end of the month by 350 Central Colorado.
Members of the public are invited to view The Story of Plastic, produced by the Story of Stuff Project.
The film examines the growing plastic pollution problem around the world, the consequences it has on the global environment and the health of organisms, including the human population.
Those who wish to view The Story of Plastic, can email Judy Wagner with 350 CC at [email protected]. She will provide the link to watch the film over the next two weeks.
On Thursday, July 30th at 7 p.m., 350 CC will conduct an online discussion of the film including what WE can do to reduce the scourge of plastics in our homes, in Chaffee County, and to support national legislation and actions. Everyone who has seen the film is invited to join. Information about how to RSVP for the Zoom discussion will be sent to those who express interest in viewing the film.
