TU's July 4th Kids' Fishing Derby is Back
The 2021 July 4th Kids Fishing Derby will be held at Frantz Lake. The free event, for kids 13 and younger, is sponsored by Trout Unlimited and Colorado Parks & Wildlife. Registration at Frantz Lake is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Sunday the 4th, followed by fishing from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. All contestants receive a derby souvenir and special prizes will be awarded.
Bring your own fishing gear, water, and sunscreen. Packaged snacks and sodas will be provided for contestants and their families. More information at www.collegiatepeakstu.org.
