Salida’s former Mount Shavano KOA has officially reopened as A-Lodge Salida, becoming the third location in Colorado for the A-Lodge brand, which also operates community-driven adventure lodges in Boulder and Lyons.
The reimagined property offers six types of lodging options designed to accommodate a wide range of travelers—from rugged campers to comfort-seeking families:

- Primitive Cabins that offer simple, rustic shelter for adventure-seekers.
- Full Hook-Up Pull-Through RV Sites perfect for RV travelers who want ease and convenience.
- Deluxe Patio Pull-Through RV Sites with additional space and upgraded picnic areas.
- Electrified Tent Sites offering power access for modern campers.
- Creekside Primitive Tent Sites that put guests close to nature and the soothing sounds of the river.
The A-Lodge ethos goes beyond just a place to stay—it’s about building community around outdoor adventure, local events, and creative culture.
