Edgar Meyer, bassist and composer, will perform solo and with a string quintet. This will be one of the most exciting concerts of the season. If you have never heard Edgar Meyer play, you are in for a real treat. He plays classical, bluegrass, newgrass and everything in between. A multi-Grammy winning artist, Meyer’s playing is unmatched. The program that Edgar is playing will not be available in Aspen—it’s crafted exclusively for Salida! It includes BOTTESINI Bass Concerto No. 2 in B minor, DVORAK String Quintet in G major and other music by Meyer. Underwritten by Collegiate Peaks Bank of Salida.
