Ah, yes ...
"Today" by Jennifer Sweete Owens

"Today the first snowflakes of the season in our little town float peacefully from the heavens above to gently melt upon the mishmash of trees, rock, grass, and concrete I call my yard. The seemingly happy dozens of bright yellow sunflowers that have recently sprung to life in a random array of dots across the landscape outside my kitchen window stand insouciant while the feathery, white wetness tenderly brushes their petals, much as I suppose the sun itself might feel about an asteroid passing by. Once again, sugar-coated mountaintops will surround our valley, portraying an apparition of white-headed bald eagles gathered in a circle of majestic stature as if to say, 'We have returned and you are safe within our ring of outstretched wings.' This teasing taste of winter amid the falling leafs of autumn leaves me to wonder where summer flies ... go to stay warm."_

That's awesome David! Ben is a favorite! Have you read his autobiography? It's quite enlightening! Certainly explains a lot about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Slightly a history buff and ... I saw the movie. And I used to write myself, 3 published books, two scripts (first place at the NY independent film fest in 2002) and a ton of cartoons.
