Salida Aspen Concerts announces 2018 season
Salida Aspen Concerts is ushering in its 42nd season with a six-concert series featuring world-class musicians from the Aspen Music Festival and School.
This year’s must-see lineup includes performances by American Brass Quintet, Anton Nel and Leonard Bernstein’s one-act opera, Trouble in Tahiti.
“We’re thrilled to have such a diverse ensemble for our 2018 season,” said Salida Aspen Concerts president Molly Walker.

Saturday, July 7 Orli Shaham, piano Underwritten by Diesslin Structures, Inc.
Saturday, July 14 American Brass Quintet Underwritten by High Country Bank
Saturday, July 21 (Buena Vista) Music from the Center for Advanced Quartet Studies Underwritten by Collegiate Peaks Bank
Saturday, July 28 Anton Nel, piano, and friends Underwritten by Elise Backinger and Kent Strickland
Saturday, August 4 Leonard Bernstein one-act opera: Trouble in Tahiti Underwritten by Attorneys of Chaffee County
Saturday, August 11 Hung-Kun Chen, piano In Memory of Susan Williams Underwritten by the Board of Salida Concerts, Inc.
All performances will be held at the Salida High School Auditorium, except for the Center for Advanced Quartet Studies on July 21, which will be held at Clearview Community Church, 457 Rodeo Road, Buena Vista.
